ikonami (Pvt) Ltd trading as ikonami Technologies was founded in 2004 by ikonami Ltd (UK) as their offshore software development arm. ikonami Technologies has since its inception benefited from the leadership of our CEO Kubair A Shirazee and the UK management team who migrated western work ethics, processes and best practises to ikonami Technologies. This has enabled ikonami Technologies to achieve milestones such as ISO 9001:2000 QMS certification within 12 months of its inception and ISO 27001. We are currently working towards ISO 20000 certifications.
In order to tell the ikonami (Pvt) Ltd story we must look into the story of our parent company ikonami Ltd (UK) where it all began!
ikonami Ltd (UK) was founded in 1999 as Kittanya Solutions Limited to provide technology management services. Quickly Kittanya built up expertise in servicing the technology needs of property development companies, human resource (HR) consultancies and fund managers.
Increasingly these clients wanted Kittanya Solutions Limited to move away from technology management by offering a broader range of services. Consequently Kittanya started working with a range of technology partners, both based in the UK and abroad. In 2001, Kittanya Solutions Limited was renamed ikonami Ltd (the art of business process transformation) and ikonami Ltd (UK) began working with a loose coalition of freelance software engineers as well as a number of offshore software companies in Pakistan, India and South Africa.
However ikonami Ltd UK did not believe that the offshore providers shared ikonami’s vision and inconsistencies in quality and timelines from 3rd party providers convinced the UK board that an alternative strategy was required. In 2003 the UK management team decided to develop its own IT operations to deliver full IT services. They put in place plans in 2003 that eventually in 2004 lead to the establishment of ikonami (Pvt) Ltd that trades as ikonami Technologies.
In 2004 ikonami Technologies delivered for ikonami Ltd (UK) the healthcare industry’s first integrated web based learning and performance management solution to align resources to competence frameworks and learning objectives to organisational goals. Built on an open, scalable and configurable .NET® technology platform, AT-Work provides a strategic HCM Solution that easily integrates into your existing ERP information / payroll system.
Following our parent company’s vision and innovate approach to HCM in 2006, ikonami Technologies developed and ikonami Ltd (UK) launched the first Team based Human Capital Management tool deployed in the UK healthcare sector: AT-Team™.
The proof of ikonami Technologies services is in the fact that our parent company’s flag ship HCM tool AT-Work™ is deployed to manage the Agenda For Change program of the National Health Service by the Department of Health in the UK, the world’s largest change management programme of its kind.
